Third Round
Japan, South Korea, Australia, North Korea and Bahrain are joined by the winners of the second round.
These teams will be drawn into five groups of four teams at the main group draw in Brazil on July 31, 2011.
Fourth Round
Winners and runners-up from the third round groups will play in two groups of five, with the two two teams from each qualifying for the World Cup and the two third-placed teams to enter a play-off against each other in the fifth round. The winner of that match will play a side from another confederation in the inter-confederation play-off.
